Opportunity Scholarship Promotional Materials for Schools and Parishes
Please continue to promote the newly-expanded North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship in your parish bulletins and other school and parish communications through the months of December, January and February. Registration for the 2024 scholarship will be open February 1, 2024 - February 28, 2024 at https://www.ncseaa.edu/k12/opportunity/.
Please find here a variety of generic materials, including bulletin text, Mass announcements, flyers and social media posts for your parish bulletin, newsletter, and other marketing outlets. You do not need to publish both the text and graphic at the same time. We are giving you options to promote the Opportunity Scholarship, depending on space in your bulletin or newsletter. The ad should go inside the bulletin, not on the back with the business ads.

The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship has expanded, offering all families a more affordable Catholic education. Key changes include removal of the prior public school requirement and no income caps. Families can apply now at any income level to receive awards varying in amounts from $3,000 to $7,000 to use towards tuition in our Catholic schools. A loving, Christ-centered education, just became more affordable for all families.
Please save and use the QR code provided here in your bulletins if possible to make this process even easier. 
El programa de Becas de Oportunidad en Carolina del Norte se ha ampliado para ofrecer a todas las familias una educación católica más asequible. Los cambios claves incluyen la eliminación de los requisitos de asistencia anterior a colegio público y el límite de ingreso. Ahora las familias, sin importar su nivel de ingreso, pueden solicitar esta beca y recibir beneficios los cuales varían entre $3000 hasta $7000 para usarlos en la matrícula de nuestros colegios católicos. Mass Announcement
The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship has expanded, offering all families a more affordable Catholic education. All kindergarten through 12th grade families may apply - even if they are currently enrolled in our school! There are no income requirements for this scholarship, and families can receive $3000 - $7000 to apply to their school tuition. New families are also eligible to apply for the scholarship. Please email if you would like the Director of Marketing and Enrollment Management to create a custom, branded flyer for your school! Additionally, PEFNC (Parents for Educational Freedom North Carolina) has produced flyers in English and Spanish for distribution. NCSEAA has also posted a preliminary Income Requirements document.
