Mission

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School provides a strong academic Catholic education, based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We welcome students of diverse backgrounds and work in partnership with parents to maximize students’ spiritual and intellectual growth.

Faith

Students learn through the lens of Catholic faith at OLPH and it is the heart of all we do! We enjoy weekly school Mass, as well as regular visits to Eucharistic Adoration and confession. Our pastor, Father Meares regularly visits the classroom bringing students and staff to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Our school also participates in many service projects throughout the school year.

Academics

We offer small class sizes and rigorous instruction in math, ELA (including grammar), science, social studies, religion, Spanish, physical education, art, technology and music. Additionally, students visit our school library weekly.

Extracurricular

OLPH offers a sports program for students in grades 5-8 with boys and girls basketball in the late fall/winter and co-ed soccer in the spring. Our middle school also has competed and won awards in the nationwide Future Cities competition. Additionally, we have Battle of the Books/Elementary Battle of the Books teams, a yearly student talent show, Christmas program and a variety of educational field trips to enhance instruction. In recent years, OLPH has partnered with Nash Community College to offer robotics and dissecting.
