A Message From the Principal

Welcome to Sacred Heart Preschool. Founded in 1999 as Sacred Heart Early Childhood Center, the center is a ministry of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst, NC. We offer a half day preschool program for 2, 3, and 4 year old children. Our school strives to provide a positive, enriching environment in which the children learn more about God, their relationship with Jesus, and their world. The center helps each child grow spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually through age appropriate experiences and socialization.

Mission

Sacred Heart Preschool strives:

to provide a Catholic preschool that creates a creative and stimulating learning environment
to establish a caring atmosphere where adults and children respect individuality
to actively encourage children to reach their maximum potential through unique educational experiences
to develop positive self-esteem within each child
to lay a strong foundation to develop lifelong learners

Faith

Our faith is interwoven in everything we do. We follow the Catholic church year, and provide a religious program that complements and supports efforts to provide Christian attitudes, values, and experiences.

Academics

Sacred Heart Preschool integrates all areas of a child's development in play-based exploration and socialization. Each class is supervised by two trained adults prepared to stimulate the development of preschool-aged children.
